Join LYNX Project for a beautiful afternoon of song on April 22nd at 4pm at PianoForte Chicago, curated and performed by LYNX artists Veena Akama-Makia (mezzo-soprano), Pauline Tan (mezzo-soprano), and Samuel James Dewese (baritone). They will be joined by pianist and LYNX Artistic Director, Florence Mak.

Selections range from works by local composers of the past and present, including Florence Price and Shawn E. Okpebholo, to the more traditional repertoire of the art song canon by Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann and Gerald Finzi. There is something for everyone!

Snapshots of Every Voice embraces the intimate genre of art song to showcase the diversity and richness of the repertoire, allowing our artists to share music that deeply resonates within all of us.
